1. Overview

Welcome to Vamos Faroe Islands. By booking a tour, excursion, or service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all bookings made directly through our website, email, or partners.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed via email or our booking system.
  • Full payment is required unless otherwise agreed.
  • Prices are listed in [DKK] and may be subject to changes before confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy

Day Tours

  • More than 48 hours before start → Full refund
  • Less than 48 hours before start or no-show → No refund

Private Tours / Custom Experiences

  • More than 7 days before tour → 100% refund
  • 2–7 days before → 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours → No refund

No-show

Failure to appear at the agreed time and place will be treated as a cancellation with no refund.

4. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes are subject to availability.
  • We will always try to accommodate rescheduling where possible.
  • Last-minute changes may be treated as cancellations.

5. Cancellation by Vamos Faroe Islands

We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Minimum participant requirements
  • Unforeseen circumstances

In such cases:

  • We will offer rescheduling or an alternative tour
  • If not possible → full refund

6. Weather Conditions

Tours in the Faroe Islands are highly dependent on weather.

  • Weather-related changes may occur even on the same day
  • Safety decisions are made by Vamos Faroe Islands

No refunds will be given for:

  • Dissatisfaction with weather
  • Changes made for safety reasons

7. Meeting Point & Timing

  • Guests must arrive on time at the agreed meeting location
  • Late arrivals may result in missed tours without refund

8. Pick-up & Drop-off

If pick-up is included:

  • Be ready at the agreed location and time
  • Delays caused by guests may result in shortened or cancelled service

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all guests have travel insurance covering:

  • Cancellations
  • Medical emergencies
  • Personal belongings

Guests are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

10. Health & Safety

  • Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by guides
  • Participation is at your own risk
  • You must inform us of any medical conditions that may affect participation

11. Liability

Vamos Faroe Islands is not liable for:

  • Personal injury or loss caused by unforeseen events
  • Weather conditions or natural hazards
  • Delays outside our control

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Weather extremes
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Transportation disruptions

13. Alcohol & Behavior

  • Respectful behavior is required at all times
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if a guest is intoxicated or disruptive

14. Complaints

If something isn’t right:

  • Please inform us immediately during the tour
  • This gives us the chance to fix it on the spot

15. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is used only for:

  • Booking management
  • Communication regarding your tour

We do not share your data with third parties without consent.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Faroe Islands.
